British AW is to make cuts to its short-haul network from Gatwick this winter. Destinations to be dropped are Alicante, Barcelona, Krakow, Malta, Madrid & Palma. In addition, Bari, Ibiza & Varna will become summer services only, while flights to Gibraltar, Malaga & Pisa will move to LHR. Competition from the low-cost carriers is almost certainly the reason for these cuts
Flybe are intending to send four DHC-8s along with pilots, cabin crew & engineers to Greece from Aug/09 to Sep/10 to operate on behalf of Olympic Air
Blue Bird Cargo will stop operating to Jersey by the end of June.

Including N6593W diverted into Jersey while routing from Brittas House Ireland to Porto after hitting a tree on take off.Which had taken the wingtip fuel tank and two thirds of the aileron off.
